This feature is live for anyone with agent access, and it’s generally available now.
Key Benefits:
Streamlined clarifications: Instantly clarify any chart, recommendation, or insight without hopping back into the app.
Natural, conversational flow: Type a quick reply in your email—Moby picks up its last output, the full agent workflow prompts, plus your question, and responds with depth.
Inbox-first integration: No need to switch contexts—stay in email and keep your focus.
(Coming soon: two-way replies via Slack)
How It Works
When you hit “Reply” on an agent email, Moby’s response is driven by three pieces of context:
Its last output to you (the email body you’re replying to)
The agent’s full workflow & prompts (all steps and instructions in that agent)
Your email reply
Anything outside that scope will be beyond the agent’s context—so keep questions tied to the agent’s domain to avoid hallucination.

Build or edit your agent
Add an Email Destination
Save & run
Once your agent runs, you’ll receive its report by email—and any reply you send will trigger an intelligent response.
Best Practices
Stay in-scope: Ask questions directly related to that agent’s data and recent output—the agent won’t pull in outside knowledge.
Use conversational prompts: Short, clear follow-ups (“Can you explain this variance?”) return the fastest, most accurate answers.
Use Cases
Internal reporting: Get instant answers to follow up questions you have about your agent’s outputs
Customer support MVP: (Coming soon: build agents that let you have one-to-one email dialogs with your own customers.)
