Overview
This article explains how to find, pause, resume, edit, and review Automations in Triple Whale.
Before you begin
You need at least one Automation. To create one, see Create an automation with Moby chat.
Find your automations
Open left navigation.
Select Automations.
Review the Automations list.
The list can show details such as:
Automation name
Description
Schedule
Last run
Creator
You can narrow the list with filters such as status, date, user, or search.
Pause or resume an automation
Locate the Automation in the list.
Use the row controls to pause it.
Resume it from the same row when you want it to run again.
A paused Automation keeps its instructions and history, but skips scheduled runs while paused.
When resumed, the Automation follows its schedule.
Edit an automation
You can edit an Automation in chat or from the Automations UI.
Edit in chat
Open the Automation’s conversation thread and tell Moby what to change.
Examples:
“Change this to run every weekday at 8am ET.”
“Send the report to #growth instead.”
“Add a section for campaigns with ROAS below 1.0.”
“Only include campaigns with at least $500 spend.”
Moby updates the Automation in place and confirms the new settings.
Click into History
Find the chat with Automation set up
On the left side chat type changes
Moby will process and verify changes
Edit in the UI
Each row has an edit control that is editable.
Click into Automations
Find your Automation
Click the gear icon that appears when hovering over your Autmation in the list view
Under the Instructions page find the Edit Automation button
In the Instructions page find the Click to Edit icon on the top right menu

Find content area you want to modify and type in changes/modifications
Check what ran
Open the Automation’s conversation thread to review scheduled runs and outputs.
A run may include:
A run confirmation
A delivery status line
A link to a report or artifact
The next scheduled run
Review action records
To review action records from your Automations, open the Actions log from the Automations page. The Actions log can show the action, status, mode, rationale, details, and created time.
Moby Actions follow your account’s action approval behavior. Some actions may run automatically, while others may require review before execution.
See Review and approve Moby Actions for more detail.
⚠️ Warning: Pausing an Automation may not affect action proposals that were already created. Review any pending proposals in the Actions log separately.
