Connect Impact and view Impact attribution data alongside the rest of your marketing channels

Get Connected

To obtain the Impact Account SID and Auth Token, please follow these steps:

  • Login to your impact.com Brand account

  • Access Account Settings > Technical > API Access

  • Enable API Access

  • Generate API Credentials:

    • Copy your Account SID (This is your unique account identifier)

    • Generate or reset Auth Token

    • Copy Auth Token

  • Paste Account SID and Auth Token in fields above

UTM Setup

A Tracking Parameter is a snippet of code that you can add to the end of a URL to track the performance of campaigns and content. By using Triple Whale's custom Tracking Parameters in your Rakuten Ads account, each visitor will be informing our Pixel exactly which ad they just clicked on before arriving at your store.

  1. Navigate to Settings from the left-hand menu.

  2. Scroll down to the Tracking section and select Gateway. If you don't see this option, it means you don't have access, you may need to request access from your admin.

  3. Click the Edit button next to Partner Tracking Template.

  4. Add the following UTM parameters to the template:

    1. tw_source; impact

    2. tw_campaign; {irpid}

    3. tw_term; {iradid}

  5. Ensure the option to append query parameters automatically is enabled.

  6. Click Save to apply your changes.

Data Library

Once you are connected, Rakuten data will start to import into your Triple Whale Dashboard. Head over to the Summary dashboard to track your most important metrics. You should see this section:

Additionally, Impact Spend will now be included in your Net Profit calculation:

Once you've connected your Impact account, you will be able to access a rich collection of metrics and pre-built dashboards across Triple Whale. Unlock new insights and optimize your paid strategy using the Impact Attribution dashboard:

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I was using Affluencer Hub to track my Impact data. How will that work now?

    1. On the pixel page, orders that were attributed to the Affluencer Hub before you connect the integration, will remain attributed to Affluencer hub.

    2. As soon as your Impact Radius UTMs are setup and the integration is connected to Triple Whale, data moving forward will be attributed properly to Impact and the publishers you work with under the Impact source in the Pixel page.

    3. On the summary page, Impact Radius data will be available for all data historically.
