Overview

Workspaces transform how you interact with Triple Whale by letting you organize dashboards, agents, and files around your specific jobs to be done. Think of it as creating focused environments where Moby can provide more accurate, contextual responses based on the content you've curated.

Whether you're optimizing Meta creative performance or analyzing product trends, Workspaces help you:

Group related content - Organize dashboards, agents, and files that work together

Train Moby effectively - Provide context so Moby's responses are tailored to your specific needs

Streamline workflows - Access everything you need for a particular task in one place

Chat with purpose - Get insights based on the exact data and context that matters to your goals

Note: Workspaces are available for shops on an agent plan.

  1. Click the "+" button next to the search bar in the left-hand navigation

  2. Choose "workspace" from the options

  3. Select your starting point:

    • Choose a pre-built workspace template for common use cases

    • Click the "New workspace" button in the upper right corner to start from scratch

Once you've created your workspace, you'll see the main interface with tabs for organizing your content.

Add Content to Your Workspace

Understanding Content Types

Your workspace can include three types of content:

Dashboards - Visual reports and data views

Agents - AI-powered assistants for specific tasks

Files & Context - Documents, images, CSVs, PDFs, and text files

Adding Content

Use the navigation tabs in the right-hand panel to add content:

  1. Select the content type (Agents, Dashboards, or Files & Context)

  2. Click the folder icon in the upper right corner of that section

  3. Click the "Add" button to include items in your workspace

For each content type, you'll see available options and can select multiple items that relate to your workspace's purpose.

Chat with Your Workspace

Accessing the Chat Interface

Once you've added content to your workspace, the chat interface appears prominently in the main area. You'll see:

• A chat input field with "Chat with your workspace"

• Chat history section below

• Quick action buttons for different conversation types

How Workspace Chat Differs

When you chat within a workspace, Moby becomes significantly more powerful:

References workspace content - Moby draws from the specific dashboards, agents, and files you've added

Uses context files - Any uploaded documents provide background knowledge for responses

Leverages agent expertise - Moby can utilize the specialized knowledge from included agents

Responds to direct file requests - You can ask Moby to reference specific files you've uploaded

Setting Workspace Prompts

You can set a workspace prompt to guide Moby's behavior. For example, "Act as an expert creative analyst" ensures Moby maintains that perspective throughout your conversations.

Best Practices for Workspace Organization

Think "Jobs to be Done"

Organize your workspaces around specific objectives rather than just data types. Consider what you're trying to accomplish and what information Moby needs to help you effectively.

Example: Creative Optimization Workspace If your goal is creating new ads, you might include:

• Creative performance dashboards

• Product performance data (if relevant to creative decisions)

• Ad creative analysis agents

• Brand guidelines documents

• Previous campaign performance files

Include Supporting Context

Don't just add the obvious content. Think about what additional context might help Moby provide better recommendations:

• If you're focused on creative performance, also consider product performance data

• Include historical context files that provide background on your strategy

• Add agents that complement your primary analysis

File Upload Tips

You can upload various file types to provide context:

Images - Brand assets, competitor examples, creative references

PDFs - Strategy documents, brand guidelines, research reports

CSVs - Custom data exports, performance metrics

Text files - Notes, strategies, campaign briefs
