Tailor Your Insights: How to Create a Custom Dashboard in Triple Whale

Overview

Triple Whale centralizes all your data into a single source of truth, making it easier for your team to collaborate and make better decisions with greater speed and clarity. Straight out of the box, Triple Whale includes four standard dashboards to help you with those decisions:

  1. Summary Page: Aggregate your key performance metrics from your store and various integrated data sources.

  2. Pixel: Analyze marketing performance with first-party attribution dashboards and campaign analytics.

  3. Retention: Dive into customer retention analytics.

  4. Product Analytics: Understand the impact and sales trajectory of specific products and make inventory projections.

Create a Custom Dashboard

To create a new dashboard, click the "Add" button and select Dashboard. You will first be offered to explore one of our custom template dashboards from the Template Library. If you intend to build from scratch, click Create New Dashboard from Scratch.

Assign a name, and select a folder for the dashboard to live in. Open the Advanced Settings if you want to assign a custom date range to the dashboard. When complete, click Save.

Adding Metrics to Dashboards

Now that you've created your dashboard, it's time to fill it with your desired metrics. There are several ways to add fresh data to your dashboard. There are three ways to add data visualizations to your dashboard. Let's explore each one below.

Chat with Moby

Open your AI-powered data analyst, where you can ask questions in plain language about your data and add those metrics and insights right to the dashboard.

Metric Library

Build a table containing specific data points from connected marketing channels. Add filters and order preferences. Click Apply to add the table to your dashboard.

Custom SQL Builder

For data analysts, this allows you to write SQL from scratch and build specific tables by querying data points from the data warehouse.

Once all this is done, you'll have a completely customized dashboard with all the metrics your team needs to collaborate and make better decisions together.
