What Changed?

Previously, all orders placed through the Shop App were automatically categorized as “Non-attributed” in your Triple Whale dashboard. This caused inflation in the Non-attributed purchase count and made it harder to track the true impact of Shop App


What’s New

With our latest update, Shop App orders are now properly attributed:

Shop App attribution is now visible on the Pixel Page

  • Orders placed via Shop App will appear under the Shop App channel, not lumped into Non-attributed.

Channel logo support

  • The Shop App logo now appears next to the Shop App attribution channel for clear visibility and improved UI.

Accurate last-click attribution in multi-touch models

  • When a customer completes an order after interacting with the Shop App, it will be considered the last click in any multi-touch attribution model.

Support for UTM-based attribution

  • Any customer journey that includes a click with utm_source=shop_app will also be attributed to the Shop App channel.
