The Pixel Events Manager is a feature within your Triple Pixel settings that allows you to monitor event coverage, data quality, and the health of your pixel implementation, all in one place.
Think of it as your command center for understanding exactly what data the Triple Pixel is capturing on your store.
How to Access the Pixel Events Manager
Navigate to Settings → Pixel Settings → Pixel Events Manager tab.
Event Tiles
At the top of the Pixel Events Manager, you'll see a series of tiles representing each type of event the Triple Pixel captures. These include:
Page View — Total page views tracked on your site
View Content — Product or content page views
Collection View Events — Views of collection/category pages
Search — On-site search events
Cart View — Shopping cart page views
Add to Cart — Items added to cart
Removed from Cart — Items removed from cart
Initiate Checkout — Checkout process started
Add Payment Info — Payment information entered
Contact Submitted — Contact form submissions
Shipping Submitted — Shipping information entered
Address Submitted — Address information entered
Purchase — Completed purchases
Each tile displays the total count of that event for the selected time period.
Using Tiles as Filters
The event tiles aren't just for display, they're interactive. Clicking on any tile filters all of the data below it (the Events Per Hour chart, Sample Events table, and distribution charts) to show only that specific event type. This makes it easy to drill into a particular part of your funnel.
Events Per Hour
Below the event tiles, you'll find a line graph showing event counts broken down by hour of the day. Each event type is represented by a different colored line, making it easy to spot traffic patterns and peak activity times at a glance.
When you click on an event tile above, the chart updates to reflect only that event type, helping you understand when specific actions (like Add to Cart or Purchase) are happening most frequently.
Sample Events
The Sample Events table gives you granular, event-level detail. For each event, you can see:
Event Type — The category of the event (e.g., Collection View Events, Add to Cart, Page View)
Status — Whether the event was captured successfully
Time — The exact timestamp of the event
Page URL — The page on your site where the event occurred
Product — The product associated with the event (if applicable)
Clicking View on any event opens a detailed payload modal showing exactly what data was sent, including:
Event Type and Event Time
URL, Referrer, and Domain
Page Title
Product details (name, price, variant ID, quantity)
Currency, Snippet Version, Operating System, Browser, Timezone, Country, and Page Template
This level of detail is especially useful for debugging or verifying that your pixel is sending the correct data for specific products and actions.
Browser & OS Distribution
At the bottom of the Pixel Events Manager, two pie charts provide a breakdown of your visitors by:
Browser Distribution — Shows the top 10 browsers your visitors use (e.g., Chrome, Mobile Safari, Facebook, Edge)
OS Distribution — Shows the top 5 operating systems (e.g., iOS, Mac OS X, Android, Linux)
This data helps you understand your audience's device and browser preferences, which can be valuable for troubleshooting pixel issues on specific platforms or optimizing your store experience.
Tips & Best Practices
Check this page regularly to ensure all expected events are firing correctly. If you see 0 across the board, there may be a pixel installation issue, if only a few events show 0, those specific events may not be configured correctly in your setup.
Use the time filter (top right) to toggle between Today and other date ranges to monitor trends over time.
Click into Sample Events to verify that product data, URLs, and other payload fields are being captured accurately, especially after making changes to your store or pixel setup.
Monitor Browser & OS distribution to identify if certain platforms may not be tracking correctly.
