Uninstalling the Triple Pixel can be done by removing the pixel script from the following places:
Online store pages (the uninstall method for Online Store pages will depend on which install method you chose)
Checkout Pages
Any additional pages (html pages / third party pages) where the snippet was installed manually
Removing the Pixel from your Online Store Pages
For customers who previously used Triple Pixel Auto-Install
Shopify has deprecated the ability for third parties to modify liquid theme files via the API, so if you previously used Triple Whale's Auto-Install option and now wish to remove the Triple Pixel, you must remove it manually from your liquid theme files.
To remove the pixel snippet from your theme:
Navigate to your Shopify Admin home page
Click on Online Store > Themes
On your active theme, click the "..." icon, and select Edit Code
Inside your theme code editor, open the theme.liquid file
Locate the Triple Pixel script and delete it
Click Save
For customers using the Triple Pixel Theme App Embed
To remove the Triple Pixel from your online store:
Navigate to your Shopify Admin home page
Click on Online Store > Themes
On your active theme, click Customize
Inside your theme editor, click on the App Embeds icon
Locate the Triple Pixel app embed and toggle it off
Click Save
Removing the Pixel from your Checkout
When you install the Triple Pixel via the in-app onboarding flow, Triple Whale automatically inserts the pixel snippet on your Order Confirmation page in the Additional Scripts section.
Automatically Uninstall via the Triple Whale Pixel Settings page
Navigate to your Pixel Settings page in Triple Whale
Scroll to the Installation Status section
Find the Checkout indicator and click the Uninstall button
Triple Whale will attempt to automatically remove the script from your Order Status page Additional Scripts
Manually Uninstall
Navigate to your Shopify Admin home page
Click on Settings > Checkout
Scroll down to the Order Confirmation section and locate the Additional Scripts field
Remove the Pixel snippet
Click Save
