Actions revolutionize how you manage your advertising campaigns by letting Moby execute changes directly in your Meta ad, Google ad, Klaviyo or Shopify account. Getting Started with Actions
Using Actions in Moby Chat
The simplest way to use Actions is through direct conversation with Moby:
Open Moby chat and describe the action you want to take
Be specific with your request using natural language
Simple Action Examples:
"Turn off my Meta ad called 'Summer Sale Creative'"
"Increase the budget for my Meta campaign titled 'Holiday Promotion' by 20%"
"Create a new Google Ads Search campaign called "Summer Sale 2025" with a daily budget of $50. Use Maximize Conversions bidding strategy. Target Google Search Network only. Set it to paused status so I can review before activating."
Data-Driven Action Examples:
"Turn off all ads that have spent more than $500 and have a ROAS of less than 1.0 in the last 7 days"
"Increase budgets by 30% for all campaigns that have spent more than $1,000 with ROAS greater than 2.5"

Want to launch new campaigns, ad groups and keywords directly from Moby?
โ
First, try a prompt like:
"Create a new Google Ads Search campaign called "Summer Sale 2025" with a daily budget of $50. Use Maximize Conversions bidding strategy. Target Google Search Network only. Set it to paused status so I can review before activating."
Next, you'll be served a series of setup screens allowing you to set up the campaign based on your preferences.
After confirming the campaign creation, you can create ad groups for this new campaign by simply asking Moby. Try a prompt like:
Create three new ad groups for my new google campaign
You will then be provided with another settings panel, allowing you toggle between the adsets.
Ensure you select the new campaign you created above in the campaign selection dropdown.
Next, you'll want to configure the adgroup settings based on your preferences.
Add keywords
Set audience and country target values
CPC bid
Total budget
Start and End date (optional)
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What happens if an action fails to execute?
If an action can't be completed (due to platform restrictions, account permissions, or technical issues), you'll receive an error message explaining why the action couldn't be performed.
2. Can I undo actions once they're executed?
Actions are executed immediately in your advertising platforms. You'll need to manually reverse changes in the platform or create new actions to counteract previous ones.
3. How often can I run actions?
There are no specific limits on action frequency, but be mindful of platform rate limits and avoid making too many rapid changes that could impact campaign performance.
4. What permissions do I need in my advertising accounts?
You need account-level permissions to modify campaigns, ad sets, and ads. Actions won't work with read-only access.
5. Can I schedule actions to run automatically?
Currently, actions require manual confirmation.
