Overview
Memory is now available to Moby in chat and via agents. This unlocks a new world where Moby grows with you and learns to be a more collaborative teammate.
Key Benefits
Prompt Moby to remember specific things about you or your business, and they will automatically be incorporated into any future conversations that are relevant
Moby will also identify things that he thinks he should remember, even when unprompted
Add memory to your agents to have them remember any recommendations or insights they’ve shared with you in the past
Get Connected
To instruct Moby to save a memory, all you have to do is say “remember this” before or after something of importance to you
To review and manage what memories Moby is holding, visit the settings page and click on Memories. From here you can delete individual memories or turn memory off altogether.
To layer memory onto your agents add a “Get Data” from the agent builder and select the option for “Load Memory”. You don’t need to do anything to cause the agent to form memories.
Best Practices
Only ask Moby to remember things that will be relevant on an enduring basis
You can check whether Moby has incorporated memory when formulating any response by opening the “thought process”
When adding memory to an agent, make sure to include a subsequent reporting step with a prompt that explicitly instructs your agent to refer to its memory
