Get Set Up

Step 1:
Go to Data → Integrations.

Step 2:
In the Analytics section, find Meta Social and click Connect.

Once connected, Triple Whale will begin syncing your Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad comments, allowing you to analyze them directly in chat.

Analyze Ad Comments in Chat

After connecting, you can ask the AI to perform powerful analyses on your ad comments right inside chat.

A. Summarize All Recent Comments

Quickly get a snapshot of audience sentiment and key discussion points across your entire ad account.

Prompt:
Give me my last 200 comments on Meta ads and summarize them for me.

Result:
The AI returns a summary including:

  • Overall Sentiment (positive, neutral, negative)

  • Key Themes (common praise, concerns, product mentions)

  • Sample Highlights (examples of strong or mixed opinions)

This is ideal for understanding audience mood and emerging trends at scale.

B. Deep-Dive on a Top Ad

Zero in on your highest-performing ad and analyze the conversation driving engagement.

Prompt:
Give me my top Meta ad over the last 30 days by spend and get me the comments for this ad.

Result:
A comprehensive report including:

  • Top Ad Metrics: Spend, ROAS, Ad ID

  • Analysis Section:

    • Positive Feedback — what customers love

    • Common Questions — possible conversion barriers

    • Specific Objections — recurring themes in negative comments

  • Recommendations:
Actionable suggestions for improving ad copy, creative, or targeting based on real customer feedback.

This deep-dive helps you connect performance metrics with authentic audience sentiment—so you can double down on what’s working.

C. Run Sentiment Scoring (Advanced)

For a more quantitative breakdown, you can ask the AI to run code-based sentiment scoring on your retrieved comments.

Prompt:
Use code to do sentiment analysis on these 140 comments.
(Run this prompt immediately after analyzing an ad in Section B.)

Result:
A structured summary showing:

  • Total Comments Analyzed

  • Positive / Neutral / Negative Breakdown

  • Percentage and trend over time

Use this data-driven view to measure improvement across creative tests or campaigns.
