What's changing?
The concept of "pods" is being retired š“. Instead of managing shops via pods, you can now work more directly with individual shops. When you invite a user, you select the specific shop(s) they should accessāno pod container in between.
For all stores that you are either an Owner or have Admin Permission, when inviting new users, you can now choose their permission level (User or Admin) per store.
You can also now drag and drop stores to your preferred position! ā¤ļø
What's staying the same?
Your existing access is preserved. Any shops you could access through pods before will remain accessible. No action needed on your part.
Blended metrics are still available for paid stores, letting you view combined performance across shops.
Multi-shop visibility works as beforeāyou can see all shops you have access to from one place.
User invitations still happen from this page, just without the pod layer.
How to use Multi Shop View
In the navigation, click Multi Shop View (previously labeled Pods View).
From here you can:
View metrics across all your accessible shops
See blended metrics for paid stores
Invite users to specific shops by selecting the shop(s) and choosing their permission level
Inviting users
When you invite a new user:
Select one or more shops you want to grant them access to
Choose their permission level: User or Admin
Send the invitation
Each invitation creates a direct shop-to-user relationship (if you've invited them to multiple shops, they'll only receive a single email, and once they accept they'll be added to all of the shops)āthere's no pod to manage separately.
Removing users
To remove a user:
Go to the Settings Page
In the General Settings Section, click on the Team Tab (only available to shop Owners and Admins)
In the Team Members Table, in the column on the right, click on the
icon to remove the user's access to the shop
