Getting Started
Accessing the Partner Platform π
Navigate to app.triplewhale.com/partners to access the Partner Platform. If you already have a Triple Whale user account you can login. If you already have access to a Partner Account, you'll be directed to there. If not, you'll be brought to the Partner Account setup wizard.
If you're managing multiple partner accounts, you'll see a selection screen allowing you to choose which account to access.
Creating a Partner Account
If you don't have a Triple Whale user account yet:
Click "Sign Up"
Follow the guided setup wizard to configure your user and your Partner Account
Invite your first businesses and team members
Main Platform Features
Dashboard
Once you're in, the Partner Dashboard serves as your central command center, providing an at-a-glance view of your entire portfolio. From here you can create a new Triple Whale Business, or request access from an existing Triple Whale Business.
Key Dashboard Metrics
Metric | Description |
Total Businesses | Number of approved businesses connected to your account |
Team Members | Total users with access to your partner account |
Pending Business Invites | Businesses awaiting approval of your access request |
Business Cards
Each connected business displays:
Business Name and ID
Your access role (Admin or User)

Overview: View the business summary within the Partner Platform
Go to Business: Open the Business's account in a new tab
Businesses Portfolio View
The Businesses Portfolio View provides aggregated metrics across all your connected businesses in a single, unified dashboard β€οΈ. This allows you to:
Compare performance across all businesses
Customize tiles per business to see the most important metrics
Track blended metrics across your portfolio
Identify top and underperforming businesses
Create custom Views to easily group Brands for quick filtering
Business Summary Page
Access detailed performance data for individual businesses without leaving the Partner Platform. The Business Summary includes:
Revenue and order metrics
Marketing performance across channels
Attribution data
Key KPIs specific to that business
Moby 2
Generate reports, interactive dashboards and apps all from the Partner Platform
Conversations in the Partner Platform are not visible to the businesses
Buy and Manage your credit from your Partner Account
Use credits across all of your businesses, the businesses themselves do not need to have Moby 2 or credits for you to be able to chat with their data
History
View Chat history
All chats in the Partner Account are Public (i.e. visible to all users in the Partner Account)
Chats can be renamed for easy reference
All chats from the account can be easily seen, separately from all of your own chats
Automations
Run recurring reports for maximum efficiency
View your automations, their upcoming scheduled runs and finished runs
Simple process to copy an automation to Multiple Businesses
Click the 3-dot menu in the upper right corner of the automation card
2. Select the businesses where you want to copy the automation
3. Click Start Copy
Note: The "source automation" must have at least one upcoming run scheduled in order to copy it successfully to additional businesses.

Multiple models tracked
Create a New Business
Partners can create new Triple Whale businesses directly from the platform, streamlining the onboarding process for new clients.
Click "Create New Business" from the Dashboard, Businesses Portfolio Page or the Settings > Businesses Page
Choose if it will be a Paid or Free Business
Complete the setup wizard
Businesses that are created via the Partner Platform are automatically added to the Partner Account.
Request Business Access (from an existing Triple Whale Business)
Click "Request Business Access" from the Dashboard or Settings > Businesses page
Enter the domain of the business you want to access.
For Shopify, you should enter the xyz.myshopify.com address and not the branded URL.
The business Owner and Admins will receive a notification via email to approve your request.
Business Access Statuses:
Requested: Awaiting approval from the business owner/admin
Canceled: Request was canceled
Approved: Full access granted
Rejected: Access request was denied
Revoked: Previously granted access has been removed

Manage all connected businesses:
View business status and access roles
See feature restrictions applied by each business
View and manage which team members have access to each business

Team Management
Managing Partner Account Team Members
Navigate to Settings β Team
Invite new Team Members using the "Invite Member" button on the top right of the header
You can invite multiple team members at once
Use "Manage" to adjust roles, policies, and business access
Use "Remove" or "Revoke" to remove access
Partner Account Roles
The Partner Platform uses a tiered role system for Partner Account access:

Business Access Policies
When inviting team members, choose their business access policy:
All Businesses: User gains automatic access to all current and future businesses connected to the partner account
Specific Businesses: User only has access to manually selected businesses

Per-Business Roles
For users with Specific Businesses access, you can further customize their permissions:

Fine-tune team member access with feature-level controls:
Restrictions: Block access to sensitive data (e.g., PII blocking)
Features: Grant access to specific capabilities
These can be applied at the Partner Account level by the Business, or customized per individual business.

FAQ
Q: How do I switch between partner accounts?
A: Click on the Partner Platform logo in the top-left corner to access the account switcher.
Q: Can I be a member of multiple partner accounts?
A: Yes! You can be invited to multiple partner accounts with different roles in each.
Q: What happens when a business revokes my access?
A: The business will move to "Revoked" status and you'll lose access to that business's data. You can request access again if needed.
Q: How do I give a team member access to just one business?
A: When managing the user, set their Business Access Policy to "Specific Businesses" and select only the businesses they should access.
