Sync your Triple Whale Customer Segments directly to TikTok as Custom Audiences. Once synced, you can use these audiences for ad targeting, exclusions, or as seed audiences for TikTok Lookalikes—all powered by Triple Pixel data that captures up to 40% more users than standard tracking.
New: You can now create a TikTok Lookalike audience directly from the Triple Whale sync modal — no need to leave the platform. Pick a target market and audience size (1%–10%), and a linked Lookalike audience is created in your TikTok ad account alongside the Custom Audience.
How It Works
After you've created and saved a segment, you can sync it to your connected TikTok ad account. Triple Whale creates a new Custom Audience in TikTok named "[Segment Name] - Triple Whale" and keeps it updated as customers enter or exit your segment. Optionally, Triple Whale will also create a linked Lookalike audience based on that custom audience.
To Sync a Segment to TikTok:
Go to your Segments list
Find the segment you want to sync
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side
Select Manage Syncs
In the Syncs modal under New audience sync, select:
Platform: Choose TikTok
TikTok Account: Select your connected ad account
(Optional) Toggle Also create a lookalike audience on, then choose:
Target market (e.g., United States of America)
Audience size using the 1%–10% slider (default 1%)
Click Create Sync
📝 Note: You cannot sync a segment until it finishes building. Wait for the segment to fully process before setting up syncs.
Managing Your Sync
Once a sync is created, it appears in the Active Syncs section at the top of the Syncs modal.

Sync Now — Click the Sync Now button to manually push the latest segment data to TikTok immediately.
Pause a Sync — Toggle the Active switch off to stop updates; your TikTok audience will remain but become static.
Resume a Sync — Toggle the Active switch back on to restart automatic updates.
