Overview
Connect Moby to Slack so your team can bring Triple Whale business data into Slack conversations. This guide walks you through connecting your workspace, reviewing Slack permissions, and sending Moby’s introduction to selected channels.
Before you begin
Make sure you have access to:
The Triple Whale business you want to use with Moby.
The Slack workspace you want to connect.
You’ll review and authorize Moby’s requested Slack permissions during setup. Confirm that you’re connecting the correct business and workspace before continuing.

Connect your Slack workspace
Open the Moby chat screen in Triple Whale.
Click the + icon in the message box.
Select Connection Hub.
Enter Slack in the Search integrations field.
Click the + button on the Moby in Slack card.
Click Add to Slack.
Authorize Moby in Slack
Confirm that the Slack authorization screen shows the workspace you want to connect.
Review the permissions requested by Moby.
Click Allow.
You’ll return to Triple Whale, where the Introduce Moby to your team screen opens.
Introduce Moby to your channels
Review the selected channels on the Channels tab.
Use the checkboxes to choose the channels that will receive Moby’s introduction.
Review the introduction message preview.
Check the selected channel count at the bottom of the screen.
Click Send introductions.
If your browser asks to open the Slack application, click Open Slack.
Note: The introduction screen may display a message that Moby is still syncing your channels. Allow time for the channel list to finish syncing before reviewing your selections.
Verify the connection
After you send the introductions, Triple Whale displays a confirmation that they have been queued. This confirms that the introductions were queued, not that every message has been delivered.
Open a channel you selected in Slack and look for:
A channel notice showing that Moby joined.
An introduction message from Moby.
