Connecting Amazon to your Triple Whale account

We're thrilled to announce that you can now integrate your Amazon Sales and Ads data directly into your Triple Whale account!

In order to utilize the Amazon integration, you must have a Shopify account already connected to your Triple Whale account.

Connecting to Amazon

  1. Head over to the integrations page and click ‘connect’ where you see the Amazon logo. You will be redirected to Amazon seller central to grant access.

  2. Once that’s done, you will see a popup, asking you which Amazon marketplaces you would like to connect. Check off the boxes that are relevant. From there, you can click ‘Continue to Amazon Ads’.

  3. After clicking ‘Continue to Amazon ads’, you will be redirected to grant access to your Amazon ads account.

  4. You will be redirected to the summary page, where you will see 3 new sections:

    1. Amazon Sales

    2. Amazon Ads

    3. Amazon Stats

  5. In your Triple Whale Stats section on the Summary page, you can click 'Include Amazon' to include Amazon data in the relevant metrics, such as 'Net Profit'.

Setting up your Amazon COGs

  1. Head over to the COGs page in the Store section of the Triple Whale app.

  2. Click on the 'Amazon' tab

  3. At the top of the page, select the marketplace you would like to add costs for.

  4. Click to 'upload'. You will then see a popup, where you can download a CSV and in that same pop up

Amazon FAQ

Question: When I click "Include Amazon sales & ads" on the Triple Whale Stats section on the Summary page, which tiles are updated?

Answer: Net Profit, Blended ROAS, MER, Net Margin, Blended Ad Spend, Blended CPA, BA-ROAS, POAS are updated. The following metrics are not updated: RPS, Returns %, NCPA, Cash Turnover, NC-ROAS

Question: When I connect my Seller Central account, how far back does the data import go?

Answer: Triple Whale pulls in 700 days of historical data. It may take some time for all of it to pull in.

Question: When I connect my Amazon Ads account, how far back does the data import go?

Answer: Amazon API limits Triple Whale to 60 days of historical data.

Question: Which ad campaign types are being pulled in?

Answer: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Display, Sponsored Brand.
