ChatGPT Ads data is not showing in Triple Whale

What to check when your ChatGPT Ads spend and metrics do not appear after connecting the integration.

Issue

You connected ChatGPT Ads to Triple Whale, but no data (spend, impressions, or clicks) appears on your Summary page or in the ChatGPT Ads widget.

Applies to

  • Triple Whale accounts with the ChatGPT Ads integration connected.

Causes and fixes

1. The data is still syncing

Newly connected data can take a short time to appear. Wait a few minutes after connecting, then refresh.

2. No active campaign in ChatGPT Ads

The integration requires at least one active campaign.

  1. Log in to ChatGPT Ads Manager.

  2. Confirm you have at least one active campaign.

  3. Return to Triple Whale and refresh.

3. The wrong API key was used

The key must come from ChatGPT Ads Manager, not the standard OpenAI platform.

  1. In ChatGPT Ads Manager, go to Settings > General > API Keys.

  2. Create or copy the correct key.

  3. In Triple Whale, reconnect the integration with the correct key.

    1. Log in to your Triple Whale account

    2. Go to Data, then open Integrations

    3. Search for ChatGPT Ads in the integrations list

    4. Click Connect on the ChatGPT Ads card

    5. Paste your API key into the connection field

    6. Click Save

4. The connection needs a refresh

  1. If the steps above do not resolve it, disconnect and reconnect the integration.

    1. Click on Data

    2. Select Integrations

    3. Click Disconnect on the ChatGPT Ads integration
